Themes and Activities
Make Your Reading Group Meetings More Memorable
Themes help the monthly LTM Reading Group meetings stay fresh. It has been our
experience that creating a theme (especially a game) based upon the current book selection not only
makes the meetings more fun, they are much more memorable.
Its All About Reducing Stress and Having Fun
The theme gets members into the “spirit” of the story. The game provides a means though which either the discussion or trivia questions can be asked, or simply as a fun distraction.
Certain book selections have presented a real challenge on which to base either a theme or game. In the end, the effort and the few dollars invested in decorations and materials is well worth it.
Help with Reading Group Themes and Activities
The LTM Reading Group grants other reading groups the non-exclusive use of the
materials found in the Themes and Activities Archive below. Specialized help and suggestions for
themes, games and activities is included in the membership fee when starting
an LTM Reading Group of your own.

Our reading group meeting themes archive (although incomplete) is ongoing. When it was decided to make them available on this Website, we were disappointed to find much of the original source material had been discarded. Beginning in 2008, we are committed to making any theme or activity created for LTM Reading Group meetings available on this page.
Please visit our Website to review our themes and activities.
