Those unfamiliar with Blogging, or Newsfeeds are encouraged to review
our tutorial. Although the tutorial is not intended to be definitive, we hope it provides enough
information for newbies, to help lower the veil of mystery surrounding these subjects.
Just Dive-in!
Those new to Blogs and Newsfeeds should not be afraid to experiment with either. Don't stress-out over mistakes. Have fun sharing your thoughts about our book selections and perhaps, even learn something new about this rapidly changing technology.

comment on, then click the Comment link. The example (left) shows “1 Comment” it

feel free to do so. You may comment on as many questions as you wish, but only only at a
time.
4. Under “Leave a Reply” enter a screen name (is
does not have to be your real name) and your email address. The email address will not
be published.
The “Website” box is optional.
5. After typing your comment in the box, click the
“Submit Comment” button. This action notifies us that a comment has been submitted
for review and approval (Moderation).
In our Blog, your comment will not appear until it has been reviewed and approved.
6. Once Moderated, your comment appears under the question, in
chronological order with any other related comments. Note that only your screen name and the
date and time you submitted your comment appears.
Repeat the process for any other question, or other’s comment that you wish to comment on.
Using Newsfeeds
This symbol indicates that the Web page you are viewing has
an RSS feed. An RSS-aware browser is required. Current versions of numerous Web browsers
auto-detect the presence of links to RSS feeds when a Web page loads.
Firefox - The icon appears on the
far-right of the URL box.
Internet Explorer 7 - The icon, located to the right of
the Homepage icon, appears to light-up. A sound my also be generated.
Depending on the Browser, clicking the icon opens either a dialogue to “Add a Bookmark” or “Subscribe to this Feed.” Select whichever is appropriate. As versions change, things tend to get moved-around, so please check your Browser’s documentation.
Firefox - Feeds appear on a line of their own, each
preceded with the RSS icon. To see if the feed has been updated (with an open Internet
connection) click the bookmark.
Internet Explorer 7 - Click the Gold Star. RSS feeds
are located between "Favorites" and "History." To see if the feed has been updated (with an
open Internet connection) click the bookmark.
Other Options - Depending on the Browser, you may have other options to view and sort your saved RSS feeds. RSS feeds also function like standard bookmarks. Clicking on them will cause the page to open in the Browser window.
Please check your Browser's documentation, or simply experiment. You can always delete, then re-save a feed if something gets too messed-up. Any changes you make here have no effect whatsoever on the feed itself.
